We got up and ate breakfast in the hotel again. We walked over to the Vatican. We got there at about 10:30. The Pope speaks every Wednesday at that time and you are supposed to get tickets online for it. It looked like people were just walking in so we followed. It was pretty cool to be there to see the Pope. He rode through the crowd in his Pope mobile, and then he spoke to the crowd.

I couldn’t believe how close we got. We then went to the post office and mailed postcards so they could be postmarked from the Vatican.
